Free refurbished bikes through The Recyclery's Freecyclery

The Recyclery Collective

The Recyclery donates more than 250 refurbished bikes a year to people who need one for transportation.

How to get it

Get a referral from one of the Freecyclery partner organizations (listed on the Freecyclery Partners page), which puts you on the waitlist; you'll be notified when a bike is ready. Or earn a bike through the Earn-A-Bike Fellowship: fill out the Volunteer Application and ask to join the Earn-A-Bike waitlist.

Good to know

Partner referral required (or Earn-A-Bike Fellowship). Recipients must have a secure lock; helmets are strongly encouraged. Earn-A-Bike has a non-refundable $50 tuition that covers a lock and helmet.
